Volunteers Needed -

South Wales Lowland Search dogs is a group of local dedicated volunteers, who specialise in training dogs to aid in the search of missing people.
The group started in 2004 and at present we have a total of 8 volunteers (6 Dog Handlers) and 8 dogs undergoing training.

News
We now have 6 qualified members who completed the Search Technicians course.
A massive well done to Mali who passed her Level 2 assessment.
We train once a week come rain, hail or snow at various lowland locations including forests, open moorland and unused quarries, training sessions are both challenging and rewarding.
Once a month we organise an extended training session, normally on a Sunday, which covers First aid, Navigation and Search Skills.
