Want to do something really worthwhile and be part of a team?

Who are we?

 

We are a local group of dedicated volunteers, who specialise in training dogs to aid the search for missing people in Lowland areas.

What do we do?

 

We train once a week, then once a month we have an extended training session, normally on a Sunday, which covers First aid, Navigation and Search Skills (all training given)!

How do we do it?

 

This is achieved through play to train the dogs to become search dogs, something which takes time, patience and many hours.

 

Of what use could I be to the group?

 

You would be surprised!

We need volunteers to help by being a Missing Person - for the dogs to find at training session.  You can also train to become a Navigator who works as part of our team.
